Music Worcester presented The China National Symphony Orchestra performance in Mechanics Hall on February 15, 2013.

supported in part by not only St. Vincents Hospital and United Bank, but also the US-China Institute and the Confucius Institute at Bryant University, we suddenly realized that we had an amazing number of students in the audience and were so excited and gratified by this fact.  A very full house included students from WPI, Holy Cross, Clark U., Worcester State U., Leicester H.S., Franklin H.S., the Beijing Language School, representatives from Bryant University…and possibly more!  We welcomed old friends and new.  It was so nice to see so many young faces in the audience.

“I think I should have no other mortal wants, if I could always have plenty of music. It seems to infuse strength into my limbs and ideas into my brain. Life seems to go on without effort, when I am filled with music.”-George Eliot
